2006

Design/Build

This seven exam room specialty facility was designed within an existing perimeter shell of approximately 10,600 square feet. Commissioned by Kansas State University, this hospital serves host to an outreach program (through Kansas State University) for veterinary students in Omaha as well as serving referred residents within Omaha and the surrounding area. In addition to the large treatment area, a dedicated ICU is adjacently located for direct visibility and easy monitoring into the cages and runs that surround that ward. A large Anesthesia Induction area is separated by a self-opening sliding glass door and serves a large surgery suite comprised of 2 single-table surgery rooms and one dual-table surgery room. The radiology suite which also supports a neighboring emergency hospital (breezeway connection provided) houses a CT unit and digital radiology.
